Bethany Missionaries and Support
As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate
me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.
And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid [their] hands on them, they sent
[them] away.
Acts
13:2-3
In theses two verses of Scripture we see the church at Antioch sending out, called men of God into the mission field. It is a biblical principle that the local New Testament Church does this, that the Gospel of The Lord Jesus Christ is spread though out our land and abroad.
Bethany Baptist Church Ynyshir has been very blessed with the men and women that have been called to the missionary field by the Lord, and accepted this calling.
Here are the missionaries currently supported and sent out, by the blessing of the Lord through Bethany.
Greg Collins along with his Cypriot wife Debbie and their daughter Jheothora are missionaries in Nicosia Cyprus.
Greg. met Debbie while in Cyprus in the Air force, they were married and lived in Wales until 2002 when God called Greg to Cyprus.
David Bennett and his wife Gillian along with their son Daniel served the Lord for many years at Bethany Baptist Church Ynyshir.
God called David to start a church in the Area in which they live ay Llantwit Fardre. "Crown Hill Baptist Church" started on the 19/06/2003 and they meet in the local Scouts Hall.
Joan accepted Christ as her Personal Savior in ? she has been very active in serving the Lord ever since in November 2004 the Lord called Joan to finish her job and to go knocking doors in the Rhondda Valley. Joan, although supported by her husband Wayne now lives by FAITH.
You can here Joan's story here...
